Just wanted to drop some roses at the feet of this Brutus issue all about dogs. The Akita-Inu staring back at you is the best cover model I’ve seen in a long time. I like that white Softbank dog and all, but this girl Shoko — an Akita-ken from Akita-ken — has made my year. Buy it while still on stands… |

That white soft bank dog is Hokkaido-ken(aka Ainu-ken).

I thought it was Kishu-ken. How do you tell the difference?

I too thought that was a Kisyu,because most Hokkaido-ken are light brown and has foxy face.
The dog belongs to animal talento agency called 湘南動物プロダクション in Ichihara.They lease animals to TV.
